When trying to sell medical imaging equipment, including the details is everything.
Whether you’re planning on selling your medical imaging equipment to make room for a more prominent purchase or even planning to upgrade, the following information is what you need to include before making the sale.
1. System and Accessories.
Capture an image of all the necessary system and accessories included for the bone densitometer system. That way the potential buyer can be guaranteed all the essential items would be coming with the unit. This consists of the workstation, printer, manuals, backup disks, etc.
2. Software disks.
Having a backup disk of the software is absolutely necessary if you are selling your unit. Include close up photos that show the legitimacy of the disks.
3. System tags.
Include images of the manufacturer, serial tag, and model number of the unit.
4. The software level.
On the workstation monitor, by clicking on the help tab, you would be able to confirm the model of the unit and what software level the unit would be running.
5. Software options.
A list of all the possible options can be viewed on the system. Since the potential buyer would want to know the options that have been installed, you can specify the inclusions by stating “available” by the options that have been installed.
6. A passed QC report.
Include an image of a passed QC report. That way potential buyers can be briefed on whether the system is calibrated correctly and works in proper order.
Doing the necessary work is essential to make sure the potential buyer is equipped with the answers they need regarding the machine to make a valid sale.
